Today I made the same mistakes as before; two typical mistakes are very difficult to solve: impatience and FOMO (FOMO stands for “Fear Of Missing Out”). Bullets are limited on the battlefield. Every time you want to shoot, you must make sure you will not waste your precious bullets.

“Being overly cautious” and “acting recklessly” seem like two opposite behaviors, but they precisely share a common psychological root: the certainty of one’s trading system has not yet fully overridden human instinctive emotions.

Today I spent a whole day, and only gained about $225.5. I made several correct decisions and several incorrect ones, essentially I wasted the day, the first correct execution was I bought 10 contracts 7535c at $1.25/contract, but I sold them at $1.35/contract; the second execution was I bought 10 contracts at $1.4/contract, but I sold them at $1.45/contract. Basically I gained just a bit from my correct decisions but lost a lot from wrong choices.

Today I lost $217 on the 7650p, mainly because I bought it at $11.10/contract and sold at $6.80/contract. However, I made some money on the prediction market, so overall I gained about $50 today. Again, the heavy positioning messed with my head — the direction was correct, but my execution wasn’t.

Should I try XSP instead of SPXW? Any mistake
